Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be at least 18 years old by February 1st of the year the scholarship begins.

Residency Status

Must not be an Australian citizen, hold permanent residency in Australia, or be applying for permanent residency in Australia.

Citizenship and Application

Must be a citizen of a participating country and apply for the scholarship from their country of citizenship.

Relationship Status

Must not be married to, engaged to, or a de facto partner of a person holding, or eligible to hold, Australian or New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency.

Prior Awards

Account Setup: Upon logging in for the first time, applicants will receive a registration number, username, and temporary password. Create a new password and save it for future logins.

Application Creation: Navigate to the ‘Home Menu,’ select ‘Applications,’ and click on ‘Create new Application.’ Then, choose the Australia Awards Scholarship 2024 under schemes and proceed.
